Factory & supply chain
"Made in China" is a location, not a quality standard. What determines the product is the process chain behind it — and whether that chain is documented well enough to audit.
The process chain
| Stage | What happens | Why it matters to buyers |
|---|---|---|
| Peptide synthesis | Solid-phase synthesis (SPPS), resin loading, coupling cycles | Sequence fidelity and side-reaction control |
| Cleavage & deprotection | Cleavage from resin, side-chain deprotection | Yield and impurity profile |
| Purification | Preparative RP-HPLC fractions | Purity and batch-to-batch consistency |
| Lyophilization | Freeze-drying under controlled cycle | Cake structure, residual moisture, stability |
| QC release | HPLC, MS, moisture, appearance | Documented evidence per lot |
| Fill & pack | Vial fill, crimp, label, batch coding | Traceability to the lot you receive |
Capacity model
We do not publish a single "tons per year" figure as if it were audited. Capacity depends on peptide length, purification yield and lyophilization cycle time — the last of these is routinely underestimated, because a full cycle runs for days, not hours (see how freeze-drying works). For planning purposes, share your SKU list and target volumes and we will confirm realistic monthly output and lead time per product.
Traceability framework
- Batch number assigned at synthesis and carried through purification, lyophilization, fill and packing.
- Analytical results filed against the batch, not against the product name.
- Retention samples kept for the stated shelf life.
- Deviation log for out-of-specification lots; OOS material is not released.
What buyers can audit
Qualified buyers can request a documented quality questionnaire, sample COAs from previous lots, and (for larger programs) a video walkthrough of the production and QC areas. We do not stage factory visits as a marketing device; we answer specific process questions with records.
